Dr. Bassam Awwa is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He holds fellowships in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Awwa holds appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University. He is the Managing Partner and the Medical Director of CBHA Connecticut Behavioral Health Associates . He has been Vice president of the Freedom and Peace Trust as well active member of many local charities and civic organizations.
